Modification and installation of reverse osmosis drinking water generators Borwin Beta

b.offshore GmbH has won the contract for the installation of two reverse osmosis plants on the BorWin Beta in March 2021. The contract comprised the modification concept, the dismantling of the old plant and the integration of two new drinking water generators, including the associated foundations, pipework and electrical connections.

The design of the plant was carried out in accordance with DIN EN ISO 15748, TrinkwV & DVGW.

BorWin Beta is an offshore platform in the BorWin2 grid connection project in the German exclusive economic zone (EEZ). The platform is located about 110 kilometres from the mainland in the North Sea.
