Engineer Electrical Engineering (m/f/d)
b.offshore GmbH offers steel construction, mechanical engineering and electrical engineering for the entire offshore wind farm from planning to the operating phase to periodic inspections according to BSH standard reliably from a single source. Our North German engineering office has offshore experience and is equipped with all offshore certificates according to GWO standard and has been working for the entire offshore wind industry since 2016.

Your tasks
In addition to power plant operating technology, electrical engineering also includes systems that are necessary for life support. From power generation/distribution to fresh water production, marine radio, air conditioning/ventilation systems, waste and waste water treatment, all systems have electrical engineering components. To enable the operation of transformer stations and wind turbines, safety, monitoring and remote control systems are networked with all relevant systems. Depending on the type of power plant, the focus is on complex operational control, management and command systems, such as audio and video or high-quality lighting systems.
In the role of electrical engineer (m/f/d):
- You represent our interests with our clients and classification societies
- You compare the needs of the electrical installations and systems with the client's requirements
- Responsibility and monitoring of all necessary electrical engineering issues in project execution
- Participation in the creation of technical system specifications
- You develop electrical installations and systems in accordance with standards and regulations
- Creating technical contract and order specifications for the electrical installations and systems
- You draw up test specifications including participation in tests
Your profile
- Successfully completed studies (Bachelor/Master/Diploma) in the field of electrical engineering/automation, communications engineering or computer science
- Several years of professional experience in the processing of complex plants and systems
- Knowledge of development processes for hardware and software
- Good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- User knowledge of CAD and CAE (preferably EPLAN)
- Strong implementation skills, results-orientation and a structured way of working
- High degree of responsibility and independence
- Business fluent in written and spoken English
