Adaptation of the HVAC systems at the Amrumbank West and Nordsee Ost offshore substations

b.offshore GmbH ensured a “good climate” at two offshore substations of RWE Renewables GmbH. In the Amrumbank West and Nordsee Ost wind farms, better accessibility for maintenance and cleaning work was created by retrofitting inspection covers in the ventilation duct network of the HVAC systems.

The implementation of the conversion work on the offshore platforms was meticulously planned and prepared in advance. The exact location of the new openings in the existing ventilation shafts had to be sensibly defined and agreed with the customer.
