In the spring of 2019, b.offshore GmbH installed an industrial floor in the protection and control room as well as in the operating area of the 220-kV HV room on the OSS Wikinger. Despite bad weather conditions, the daily transfer of passengers and material from Sassnitz to the offshore construction site via CTV transport ship was successful.

In 2018, b.offshore GmbH measured the helicopter landing decks at some offshore substations in the North Sea. In February 2019, the helideck of the Tennet converter platform HelWin alpha was added, which is located north of Helgoland.

At the beginning of the year, b.offshore GmbH looks back on the last almost thirteen months and dares to look ahead to the just started year 2019. On its own or with competent partner companies as in the main focus with the structural design engineers of JÖRSS - BLUNCK - ORDEMANN GmbH (JBO) b.offshore also faces big tasks relaxed. Already in 2018, after numerous success stories in the North and Baltic Seas, the North German company was able to set sail for Asia.

Room air-tightness tests for extinguishing gas systems (also known as Door Fan Tests) have been routine practice in the area of building engineering for a long time. b.offshore GmbH has now carried out such a test for the first time for approximately twenty rooms of an offshore converter station in the North Sea belonging to TenneT.
